"Christmas all over Europe"
* Students of ST1 are involved in this eTwinning project during the school year 2012-13.

Students of class ST1 of Demenika Primary School are going to combine the old with the new in a Christmas cultural exchange.
Six countries are involved in this project: Greece (founder), Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Uk. The project activities involve: * Creating 1 A3 size handmade Christmas card for each country-partner to be sent by post [that is the old] * Preparing 1 PP presentation in English about local Christmas customs and traditions. * Singing local Christmas carols in their native language * Recording their Christmas wish in their native language * Writing their Christmas wish in English and posting it on a common virtual wall [that is the new] |

** 1st activity **

Students prepared amazing handmade Christmas cards to be sent by post. Check out their work in the slideshow below.
** 2nd activity **

One PP presentation about Greek customs and traditions was prepared by students of ST1. In it they were included 2 videos in which the children sing themselves accompanied by their music teacher Mrs Vasso, who is playing the piano. Have a look at their presentaion and the carols vids below.

For their last activity students had to do 2 things:
a) record a Voki saying "Merry Christmas" in their native language and b) write their Christmas wish on a common virtual wall. Check out the outcome of their work in the material below.
