* Students of ST1 are involved in this eTwinning project during the school year 2012-13.

Students of class ST1 of Demenika Primary School are going to combine the old with the new in a Christmas cultural exchange.
Six countries are involved in this project: Greece (founder), Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Uk.
The project activities involve:
* Creating 1 A3 size handmade Christmas card for each
country-partner to be sent by post [that is the old]
* Preparing 1 PP presentation in English about local Christmas
customs and traditions.
* Singing local Christmas carols in their native language
* Recording their Christmas wish in their native language
* Writing their Christmas wish in English and posting it on a
common virtual wall [that is the new]

1st activity

Students prepared amazing handmade Christmas cards to be sent by post. Check out their work in the slideshow below.

2nd activity

One PP presentation about Greek customs and traditions was prepared by students of ST1. In it they were included 2 videos in which the children sing themselves accompanied by their music teacher Mrs Vasso, who is playing the piano. Have a look at their presentaion and the carols vids below.

3rd activity

For their last activity students had to do 2 things:
a) record a Voki saying "Merry Christmas" in their native language and b) write their Christmas wish on a common virtual wall. Check out the outcome of their work in the material below.
